Korg Volca Modular
Descrizione
Korg has added another new model to its Volca series. The Korg Volca Modular is an analogue synthesizer with eight modules, fifty patch points, digital effects and a sequencer. The Source module has a triangle waveform with FM synthesis that lets you create the basic sound character. The Woggle module features a sample & hold circuit, while Dual LPG has two low-pass gate circuits and a filter with an amp. The Function module has two envelope generators, the Split module allows you to split or combine signals and the Utlility module gives you various mixing possibilities. There's also a Space Out Module that adds reverb-like effects and, of course, the sequencer. Thanks to its semi-modular design, the Korg Volca Modular is easy to use even for those with little experience of synthesizers, yet comprehensive enough to excite seasoned sound designers too.

De volca voor wie het modulaire eens wil uitproberen aan een lage instapprijs... heel andere manier vannwerken met veel mogelijkheden.
De Volca Modular is een prachtige uitdaging voor diegene die wil experimenteren met geluid, De patchkabeltjes geven de mogelijkheid om de meest bijzondere geluiden te creëren. De sequencer is erg goed en heeft meer mogelijkheden dan bij eerdere Volca's en werkt op vaak verrassende wijze samen met de geluidsmodule. De Space Out reverb klinkt zoals hij heet, super. Veel kwaliteit voor relatief weinig geld.

Al een tijdje heb ik de Korg Volca Sample en het werd tijd voor iets nieuws.
De Modular stond al een lange tijd op mijn verlanglijstje maar het was er nog niet van gekomen.
Ik wist niet zeker of dit kleine apparaatje wel aan mij besteed was, maar gelukkig kon ik hem uitproberen in de winkel in Rotterdam. Er stonden ook nog wat andere Volca's waardoor je goed kon horen hoe ze samen klinken.
Het maakte mij gelijk enthousiast en ondertussen heb ik hem een tijdje. Ik ben zeer blij met de aankoop! Voor de lage prijs van de volca krijg je heel veel en het feit dat je ze kan linken is top.
